HOW TO USE NEMATODES STEP 1: WATER THE LAWN It is recommended that Wilson® GrubOut® White Grubs be applied when the lawn is wet, after a rain event or watering. STEP 2: INCORPORATE NEMATODES Remove the sprayer lid, open the plastic bag and place the bags in the sprayer without opening them. To avoid clogging the sprayer, DO NOT tear or open the bags before placing them in the sprayer. Add approximately 2.5 cm (1 in.) of warm water to the sprayer to dissolve the solution. Fill to the line with room temperature water. Close the lid tightly and shake vigorously to disperse the nematodes evenly. STEP 3: ATTACH AND SPRAY Attach the hose to the sprayer and turn the valve to the Mix position to begin spraying. Start by spraying the most affected area of the lawn and continue spraying outward to ensure complete coverage. EFFECTIVE AGAINST White grubs (European chafer, Japanese beetle and common chafer larvae), tipulas and onion maggot larvae, fleas and flea beetle larvae, black vine weevil, hornworms, sciarids, cutworms and sod webworms WHEN TO USE THE NEMATODS In general, treat when larvae are present and actively feeding, late April through mid-June, and again in early August through October (varies slightly by geographic location). Wilson® GrubOut® White grubs are most effective when soil temperatures are between 10°C and 30°C (soil temperatures must be at least 10°C for effective control). They are very sensitive to UV light and should be applied in the evening or on cloudy/overcast days. WHERE TO USE Lawns and gardens TIPS Do not store an opened bag (use the entire contents in one application). Shake solution often during application. Keep treated area wet for at least 3 days (or 1 week if weather is dry). Depending on water pressure, it will take approximately 7 to 10 minutes to empty the sprayer. FORMAT Covers 3,000 sq. ft. STORAGE Nematodes are living organisms and should be used as soon as possible. Do not leave nematodes in water, in a bag or in a container. Do not place in direct sunlight.
